49 Prince is accepting applications for affordable rental units located at 49 Prince Street, New Haven, The refurbished Downtown New Haven development of 49 Prince has been built in cooperation with the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority (CHFA) and the State of Connecticut Department of Housing (DOH) in order to offer affordable housing options for families, the elderly and those with disabilities. Rents for these apartments are based on specific income guidelines for the New Haven Metro area and according to the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit program (LIHTC) Gross rents with utilities will start at $445.00 and up depending on your income level. Applicants must be able to demonstrate the ability to pay rent, utilities and other financial obligations they may have. 49 Prince is a non-smoking property and does not allow pets. 49 Prince does not discriminate because of race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status, or national origin.
All rental applications will be reviewed for occupancy standards, income guidelines, income verification, criminal and credit check. There is a non-refundable Application Fee of $50.00 per applicant over the age of 18 payable by money order or certified bank check. Applications will be received by MAIL ONLY.
